Solar Eclipse Family Picnic at Boston Castle

On Wednesday 12th August a 90% solar eclipse will be visible in Rotherham. This is the most complete eclipse visible in the UK since August 1999. The next comparable event will be in 2081. So bring a picnic tea to Boston Castle at 6pm on 12th August and join with others in experiencing this rare event. The eclipse will be due between 7-7.20pm. We have ISO certified solar eclipse glasses available to aid the experience.
