Please pray for
Broom:For the Tuesday @ Broom group. May it continue to grow and flourish. For
the attendees to feel their spirits lifted and enjoy the friendship and activities offered.
For Broom Lane Care Home. Bless each resident, and member of staff . Help the staff
be given wisdom and compassion as they look after the residents.
For the children's groups associated with the church. These include, Junior Church,
Nursery children, Little Boat Club , Brownies and Guides and all other children's
groups who meet in the building.
Whiston : For the gift appeal. That it would help raise money for work needed on the roof.
For the church anniversary on Sunday 6th April.
For the community events, including Vintage Messy Church and the Thursday coffee
mornings at 10-11.30.
Wickersley: That Messy church will continue to thrive. Helpers will be welcome to come and join us.
For wisdom and guidance to deal with building and property issues.
For comfort for all who may be grieving for loved ones. For them to receive healing,
and support from their friends and family.
Central: For the young people linked with the church. These include, Girls Brigade,
Boys Brigade, Junior Church, Family Church, Little Boat Club and Brick Church.
Coffee mornings to raise money for charities. Each one supports a different charity.
On April 5th there is a coffee morning to raise funds for Grimm and Co Literacy
children's charity in Rotherham.
Pray for healing mercies within the church, for people who are not well.
Clifton: For the community café, that God will bring people to it that will benefit from
going, and friendships will grow within it. Bless all volunteers.
For Toddler group. A blessing, and protection upon all children and staff.
For Youth Club, that God will bless each person, now and always. May He guide their
journey through life in all ways and build a spiritual foundation for their lives.
Rawmarsh: Pray for the continued work for the High Street Centre. May the people
who attend have good fellowship with other people.
Bless each member of the prayer group who meet regularly. Guide their prayers, and
may they continue to seek God In supporting others in this way.
Bless the newly formed walking group. May each person be refreshed and invigorated
as they experience their time enjoying God's creation, and have good fellowship
together.
Furlong Rd: For the continued success of Little Boat Club.
For the Spring Fayre on the 10th April. That it may provide a good opportunity to
connect with the local community.
For God's healing touch on several church members who are facing health
challenges.
Piccadilly: For members who are adjusting to different ways of doing things, due to
age or infirmity.
Give thanks that each week the building is being used by a preschool group. Bless
the staff, the children and their families. Also, for Ed, and other church members, who
may be involved as opportunities arise.
Pray that our presence will be noticed by the community, and that hearts and minds
will be changed by Christ through our presence in the area.
St Johns: For Little Boat Club, that it may continue to thrive and grow.
For the Memory café, that all who attend will benefit from the friendship, fun and
support.
For the family service, that families will enjoy the fellowship with other families. For all
three events, that God will help bring the people who will benefit from attending.
Wath, West Melton: for Broad Horizons, a group giving care to adults, and
operate on church premises. Also, all other groups using the hall.
For the Lighthouse organisation, and Methodist Homes. These two organisations do
very important, valuable work in Wath.
For those attending the Alpha Course from March to May.
People who may feel lonely, living on their own. Let them receive friendship and
support to encourage them and lift their spirits.
Thorpe Hesley: For Rotherham Foodbank. Help there to be enough food for all
who need it.
For Child Aid, a charity working in Eastern Europe, including Ukraine. Bless the work
and the witness of the church.
