District Gathering at Broom

The Sheffield Methodist District Gathering and Synod took place at Broom Methodist Church on Saturday 12th September. The theme for the day was 'Exploring discipleship and Scripture' . Two keynote speakers led us in studies of Old and New Testament passages and there were group Bible engagement sessions looking at the passages using a range of approaches.

Our Circuit's 'Knitted Gospel' scenes were on display and we have had interest shown in the Knitted Gospel on tour elsewhere in the District.
