1st Rotherham Boys' Brigade

Recently at the 1st Rotherham Boys’ Brigade at Central Methodist Church, we have been focusing on teamwork. Each week we have included different games or activities within the Boys’ Brigade programmes to reflect this. Most notably, our boys have enjoyed games that include eye hand coordination and are always cheering and supporting each other.

This week in particular we decided to have a racetrack building competition! Letting the boys choose their own teams, we gave them access to any materials they could find within the church for full creative freedom. This resulted in some really amazing designs and at the end we all came together to take turns in testing out each teams’ track. By encouraging lots of team based activities we’ve really seen our members flourish and get to know one another.
