We currently support...
Barrie Thomas - Barrie had a dream of supporting the nighttime economy in Rotherham. Operating from Talbot Lane Methodist church his team provide hot drinks and a listening ear from 10pm-3am every Friday night. They feel blessed that they have had many occasions to help people who needed support.
Julie Oates - Julie wanted to help the elderly people that she was surrounded with every day. After completing the course she offered to be a Chaplain in a hospital. She is now an integral part of the Chaplaincy team and looks forward to developing this ministry over the coming months.
Margaret Steed - Margaret is a listening ear at her weekly Community Cafe providing long-term support for those that attend. During the happiest and saddest of times, Margaret is there.
We can train and offer Chaplains to provide Chaplaincy services to specific areas, organisations and events. Each chaplain has been trained and commissioned by the Methodist churches in Rotherham, and fully understand confidentiality, pastoral sensetivity and current safeguarding practice
